At Pendleton First we want to be a church that makes a lasting impact outside the walls of the church. We have many different Community Outreach Events planned this year.
Walk the Walk: This ministry exists to help meet the physical needs of homeless residents of Pendleton,while pointing them to the answer of their deeper, spiritual needs - Jesus. Walk the Walk meets one night a week to provide meals, clothing, personal care items, and to love on people. New Hope: This ministry helps families in the Pendleton area who are reestablishing homes after life changing events that have hindered their ability to provide for themselves and their children. Many of these families are single-parent homes starting over and in need of basic necessities such as beds, furniture and household items. Back to School: Event where parents can come with their children to pick out new school supplies, backpacks,and shoes. Children can also get a hair cut at no charge. We work closely with local agencies in getting the word out to families and children who are in need. Christmas to Remember: We will be helping families this Christmas season. Pendleton High School Graduation: The media team joins with Oregon Seven Project to provide a live video feed of the graduation ceremony.
