Kid's Place to Belong

At Pendleton First we want all our children to feel that they have a a place of their own where they can learn about God. A place to belong just like the adults. Our purpose for Children's Ministry is to guide children as they grow in their own faith in Jesus Christ. Our goal is for children to know the Love of God, share it with others and live it out all the days of their life. We want our kids to not just know about
God but know who He is on a personal level.

Sunday Services

Life Hour
If kids want an opportunity to dive deeper into God with the stories we hear during our Kids Place service,
they can join us for our Kid's Place Life Hour at 9am on Sundays.
Sunday Morning
We have multiple areas where kids can get involved. During our adult service at 10:30am we offer our own Kid's Place service for K-5th graders where they can worship God through music, play games, and most importantly learn about God through fun, interactive lessons.
Sunday Evening Celebration Place
Has your child been dealing with any hurts, habits, or hang ups in their life? Kids learn about how to work through problems they may have in life like anger and denial. They also learn how to have peace, have honesty, admit wrongs, and much more. Join us Sunday evenings @ 6pm for Celebration Place for K to 5th Grade.

Wednesday Night (Sept to June)

Royal Rangers & Girls Ministries
Join us Wednesday nights for Royal Rangers & Girls Ministries. Both programs are a great time of discipleship using a model of badge and merit earning to teach kids about the world around them, life skills, and Biblical truths! Rainbows boys & girls 3 to 5 years old. Girls Ministries K to 5th grade girls. Royal Rangers K to 5th grade boys.

Yearly Events

Kids Convention: Each November we take our upper elementary kids on a Road Trip to the west side of the state. We have a Friday adventure in the Portland area followed by Kids Convention. Kids get to hear from awesome speakers and have tons of fun with late night
activities and crazy games!
Kids Camp: Each Summer we take our upper elementary kids for a week at Summer Camp! Kids get to have fun in multiple day activities like swimming, water games, crafts and more! Each morning and night we have Chapel where we hear from an impactful speaker,
have fun worship, and time with God!

Check in & Safety

For additional confidence in the safety of your children,
Kids Place uses Planning Center’s check-in system.
Check in times begin 15 min prior to services.
Enter on the east side of the building through the fenced play yard.
Preschool checks in through the first glass door.
Elementary checks in at the grey back door.
Nursery checks in on main floor.
All volunteers are background checked and approved by the Pastor.

Do you have an interest in investing in the most fruitful and rewarding ministry? Join us in the children's ministry! We need people on Sunday mornings and evenings to teach, play games and build friendships. Wednesday nights we need people to teach and help in our different classes. If you have passion for kids or a passion to teach the word of God then we have a place for you!
